1. Minimum rental period is 5 days;
2. Where fully equipped vehicles are supplied, the days of collection and drop-off are counted as full days irrespective of the time collected or returned;
3. For vehicles without equipment we clear on 24 hour periods;
4. No refunds are applicable for early returns unless arranged in advance and agreed by Kwenda Safari;
5. Payment can be effected by credit card, bank transfer or cash; service charges of credit cards or bank charges in case of transfers are not included in our prices and to be borne by the client;

1. Monday to Fridays 08:00 to 17:00 hrs, Saturdays until 13:00 hrs;
2. For our clients mobile contact numbers are available 24 hours/ 7 days a week;
3. Deliveries and collections are included during normal office hours; for after hours, Sundays or public holidays we reserve the right to charge a delivery fee;

1. Repairs of up to R1000.00 can be effected without prior authorization. For higher amounts preceding authorization from Kwenda Safari is required;
2. In most cases vehicles are still covered under the new vehicle manufacturers warranty and where mechanical failures occur those warranty conditions will apply;
3. Should technical failures arise, it is important to remember that Kwenda Safari is neither the manufacturer of the vehicle nor the equipment but will always do its best to satisfy its customers;
4. Where serious mechanical failures occur due to standard wear and tear and which cannot be resolved in commensurable time a replacement vehicle will be supplied;
5. Inconvenience, time loss and consequential costs are not covered;
6. Mechanical failures and repair expenses in all allowed countries are covered;

1. All accidents must be reported to the nearest police station within 24 hours;
2. Where collision damages render a vehicle unusable, a replacement vehicle can be supplied by Kwenda Safari if available, but all costs are for the expense of the hirer;
3. In case of an accident the hirer is responsible for the return of the damaged vehicle to the company's head office;
4. No refund will be given for lost days due to collision damages;
5. Should the hirer decide to continue with a replacement vehicle a new rental contract and new insurance conditions will apply;

1. Standard insurance cover covers 95% of the vehicle’s value and is included for all vehicles in all rates quoted. However, this is not full cover and excess is applicable and dependant on the vehicle category.
2. In case of accidents and damages without a third party being involved ("single vehicle accidents") or loss and provided that is shown that such event was caused by the lessee or his drivers fault or neglect, a double excess may apply.
3. Additional insurance cover is available at extra premium which provides reduced excess for both collision, damage and theft.
4. Detailed Terms and Conditions of contract and on the insurance are available and will be supplied on request;

In the event of a rental having to be cancelled, the following refund rates are applicable.

• The terms of the rental contract are breached;
• Damage to the vehicle or equipment caused by careless or reckless driving;
• Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol;
• Water submersion or salt-water damages;
• If the vehicle is abandoned and no immediate contact is made by the hirer to Kwenda Safari;
• Driving on restricted or closed roads.
