Land Rover Rentals

Kwenda Safari have a large fleet of fully equipped Land Rovers Defenders available for rental purposes for travel throughout Southern Africa and as far North as Kenya. The vehicles are new/late models in good condition and well maintained. While we strongly recommend the Land Rover as an excellent option for a self-drive we can also arrange other vehicle types should you have any other particular vehicle preference.

In addition to the standard factory features available on the Defender, all the vehicles are fitted with all the safari and camp equipment necessary for safari travel, including water tanks, long-range fuel tanks, dual battery systems, aluminium roof racks and a host of other items listed on the list supplied below.

Rental Rates

CAT 3 : Land Rover Defender 110 5-Door Safari Camper Station Wagon 4x4

Specifications:

Engine: 2.5l / 90 kW Turbo Diesel engine with up to 360 Nm.

Power train: manual gear shift, permanent 4-wheel drive, 100% centre diff lock, high/low transfer box Camp equipment: for up to 5 persons

Daily rate: EUR 134,00 per day including all camp equipment and insurance

CAT 2 : Land Rover Defender 110 5-Door Safari Camper Station Wagon 4x4

Year: 2005 - 2006
Power train: manual gear shift, permanent 4-wheel drive, 100% centre diff lock, high/low transfer box Camp equipment: for up to 5 persons

Daily rate: EUR 124,00 per day including all camp equipment and insurance

All Categories include: fully equipped vehicle including all camping gear, standard insurance cover, cross border travel, unlimited kilometres, 7days/24 hours roadside assistance, airport transfers.

Special Conditions: please contact us with your confirmed travel dates to see if special rates are available; we also offer special conditions for long term rentals or the simultaneous rental of more than one vehicle.

"Frequent-Explorer" Status: to our return customers we offer our Frequent-Explorer status which provides for special conditions on their forthcoming booking.

5 days minimum rental
15% deposit required for booking confirmation
Final payment on collection of vehicle

Insurance

Our standard insurance cover included in above rates includes a comprehensive insurance with excess.

Insurance excess:

Euro 1.800,00 per vehicle

Optional insurance cover:

Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Euro 18.00 per day, reduces the excess in the case of collision, loss or damage to Euro 300,00

Theft Waiver: Euro 7,00 per day, cancels the entire excess in case of theft of the vehicle or parts thereof.

Insurance Conditions:

Minimum age of driver 23 years
Drivers license to be presented on collection of car
Credit card required for deposit of excess
Tire damages or windscreen can not be insured
